| Abstract: | This paper offers a way to include the benefits of Stratal Optimality Theory (Kiparsky, forthcoming) while maintaining parallel, non-serial evaluation. Through limited, principled definitions of correspondence relations, I derive effects identical to those of the serially-evaluated Stratal OT.
