Title:Input and Glue in OT-LFG

Abstract:I will present a way to integrate glue-logic-based semantic interpretation into OT-LFG. The OT input will consist of a pairing of an underspecified f-structure (as in Kuhn 2003) with an assembled glue-logic proof-net (Fry 1999, Andrews 2004), which specifies scope relations and other information not present in the f-structure. An essential feature of the proposal is to split the lexicon into two distinct components, a `semantic lexicon' which pairs partial feature-structures with meaning-constructors, and a `morphological lexicon' which associates phonological representations with feature-complexes.
